Who Qualifies For A Bursary Or College Student Loan From NSFAS?
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has officially opened the 2025 application procedure.
Applications at the moment are open and will close on fifteen December 2024.
*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding
To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant will have to meet the following requirements:
• Be considered a South African citizen or copyright who originates from a house using a combined gross household income that does not exceed R350 000 for each annum.
• Individuals with disabilities qualify if their combined domestic money does not exceed R600 000 per annum.
• SASSA recipients automatically qualify for funding and need not submit any proof of income.
*** Loan Scheme for the Missing Middle
The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open to all South African citizens and permanent people from homes with combined R350 000 and R600 000 for every annum.
Applicants are reminded to provide the correct Id Doc numbers, names, and surname, as reflected of their South African ID.
NSFAS only funds individuals who are finding out here or plan to research at a public university or TVET college in South Africa.
All students who wish to study in any here of the public universities and nsfas check TVET colleges should apply timeously and not to wait until the last day.
Learners do not have to wait for matric results to apply for NSFAS. They should apply now and avoid delays in the processing of their application.
